Twilight photography can be breathtaking. The intense colors and the overall feel offers visual impact. And the technical aspects keep me on my toes when photographing! After I develop the concept, much of my time is spent waiting for the available light to be "just right".
The human eye is amazing, the pupil opens and closes depending upon what we are seeing. The camera is going to be locked in to only one aperture (pupil size). So it's paramount that I have a balance between available daylight and manmade light sources. This moment of "balance" literally only last a few minutes.
PS: I recent study showed that peoples pupils would get smaller by even looking at a picture of the sun. The brain has been taught that the sun is bright! And, those pupils need to constrict when looking at the sun, even if it's just a picture. Freaky...
